Senior Game Designer Job Opportunity

We are looking for an experienced Design Director to lead our team on an exciting new project.

In this role, you will be responsible for shaping the game's design direction, collaborating with other discipline directors and production leadership, and driving the project forward.

As a seasoned professional, you will have expert knowledge of creating game design documents and prototype specifications, as well as excellent communication and relationship skills to lead the project leads by example.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the video game development process, including working in a timely manner, and prototyping/iterating appropriately.

A competitive salary of around £90,000 - £110,000 per year is on offer, depending on experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement the game's design strategy, ensuring consistency and timely delivery of high-quality design
  2. Communicate regularly with stakeholders, including Head of Design and internal and external senior management stakeholders
  3. Maintain buy-in from key stakeholders and the executive group throughout the project lifecycle
  4. Lead the Design Team by example, promoting collaboration and innovation within the department
  5. Foster a culture of growth and inclusion within the company
