Control Room Monitoring Job Description
About the Role:
We are looking for a skilled Control Room Monitoring Professional to join our team at CV-Library. As a CCTV operator, you will be responsible for monitoring CCTV cameras, identifying incidents, and reporting them to relevant authorities. This role involves working rotating shifts, covering 24/7 - 365 days, with four days on and four days off.
Responsibilities:
• Monitor CCTV cameras to detect unusual activity and report incidents to the Control Centre Team Leader and other relevant departments.
• Respond to security breaches and communicate with colleagues and external agencies as necessary.
• Perform regular checks on CCTV systems to prevent technical issues and report any malfunctions to the technical team.
Qualifications and Skills:
• To be successful in this role, you will need GCSEs in English and Maths (or equivalent) and have strong analytical skills. Good coordination and dexterity are also essential for operating CCTV systems and computer-based tasks. A SIA license for CCTV operations and experience in monitoring CCTV systems are desirable.
• Salary: £23,000 - £25,000 per annum, depending on experience.
