Job Title: Maintenance Operative

We are currently recruiting on behalf of one of the prestigious colleges in Oxford who are looking for a skilled maintenance handyperson. This role is available to start as soon as possible and will start on a temporary basis.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform minor plumbing repairs to heating and hot and cold-water systems
  • Carry out basic carpentry to failed doors, windows, or furniture
  • Replace faulty white goods and appliances
  • Conduct general painting and replacement of kitchen units
  • Replace silicon sealants around sanitaryware
  • Clear blocked drains
  • Test and check fire alarms and lifts and elevators
  • Perform grounds maintenance tasks such as lawn mowing, hedge trimming, and weeding
Working Hours and Benefits:

Current working hours are 40 hours per week, with overtime available in busy periods. You will benefit from free meals and the opportunity to work for a prestigious college in Oxford.

About the Role:

This is a diverse role working for a prestigious college in Oxford. Our client is looking to recruit someone on a temporary basis to start, with a view to offer a candidate a full-time position following a successful probationary period.
