About the Company: Our client is a well-established chemical manufacturing company based in Cheshire. They are seeking an experienced Quality & Process Safety Manager to lead their operations.

About the Job: As a Quality & Process Safety Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring highest standards of quality, safety, efficiency, and performance across site. This role combines elements of quality assurances and process safety management as well as overseeing site Integrated Management system, driving a culture of continuous improvement, and leading initiatives to enhance operational performance.

About Your Skills:

  • Process Safety Management: Lead Hazard Reviews and Basis of Safety, Coach and Develop Process and Process Safety Engineers, Improve Process Safey Standards and Processes, Implement strategies to improve the overall performance in safety audits and inspections
  • Quality Management System: Develop, implement, and maintain a robust site quality management system (QMS) aligned with industry best practices and regulatory requirements, Conduct regular audits and reviews of the Site QMS to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance, Oversee the investigation and resolution of quality issues, implementing corrective and preventive actions to prevent recurrence
  • Continuous Improvement: Champion a culture of continuous improvement, fostering a mindset of innovation and problem-solving throughout the organization, Lead and participate in improvement initiatives, such as Lean Six Sigma, Kaizen, or other relevant methodologies, Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and minimize waste

The Benefits: The salary for this role is estimated to be £87,500 plus bonus and benefits, including excellent people development and leadership skills.
