About the Role

The Supported Lodgings Coordinator is a key position within our organisation, responsible for ensuring the effective delivery of our Supported Lodgings service. This role involves working closely with young people, hosts, and other agencies to provide a safe and supportive environment for young people to live and thrive.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assessing the needs and risk of young people referred to the service, and developing suitable risk management plans for their placement with hosts.
  • Leading on the assessment of young people's support needs, and working with them to develop support plans that promote their independence and well-being.
  • Working with hosts to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to provide a safe and supportive environment for young people.
  • Providing training and support to hosts to help them develop their skills and knowledge.
  • Working with other agencies to ensure that young people receive the support they need to achieve their goals and aspirations.
  • Leading on the promotion and selling of the Supported Lodgings service to potential hosts and referral partners.

About You

We are looking for an experienced and skilled individual who has a passion for working with young people and a commitment to providing high-quality support. You will need to have experience of working with young people who are experiencing homelessness or are at risk of homelessness, and have a good understanding of the issues that affect them.
