Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Lead to join our inpatient hospital team in High Wycombe. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing operational and clinical leadership to the team, ensuring the highest level of patient care is provided to all patients.

The Clinical Lead will work closely with the Hospital Director to ensure the delivery of the highest level of clinical and therapeutic care, while also ensuring compliance with statutory regulations and current legislation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver the hospital strategy, providing operational and clinical leadership to the team.
  • Deputise for Hospital Director in their absence.
  • Act as a highly visible role model, mentor and leader, creating a culture that promotes learning, development, inquiry and professionalism.
  • Work in conjunction with the Hospital Director to ensure delivery of the highest level of clinical and therapeutic care.
  • Provide leadership, organisation and co-ordination to ensure effective clinical governance.
  • Responsible for the implementation of effective clinical interventions and ensures that treatment is designed to enhance the operation and quality of clinical services.

Requirements:

  • Professional NMC registration.
  • Strong clinical experience in ED and evidence of continuing professional development.
  • A detailed understanding of statutory regulations is essential.
  • Passionate about providing high quality care and continuous improvement.
  • Experience devising and undertaking quality improvement projects and evidence based evidence.
  • Demonstrated leadership and decision making skills essential.
  • Forward thinking, proactive and creative
  • The ability to deal with multiple issues simultaneously in a highly dynamic environment.
