About Us
Southwark Council is the largest local authority social landlord in London, managing 55,000 homes lived in by 40% of Southwark's residents. We are committed to making our borough just and fair and taking positive action to tackle inequalities.
As a Deputy Team Manager, you will lead with confidence, think creatively under pressure, and make decisive, informed decisions that ensure the best outcomes for residents. You will also provide expert guidance on complex discharges, safeguarding issues, and mental capacity assessments.
The ideal candidate will bring deep knowledge of the Care Act, Mental Capacity Act, and Continuing Healthcare processes, with a track record of applying these frameworks in practice. You will be able to lead with purpose during critical weekend periods, shaping the future of care at Southwark.
Salary: £48,618 - £55,710 per annum
