Hours of Work: 35 hours per week, including evening and weekend shifts

Location: Primarily based at Villa Park, with travel required to other club sites
Job Summary:
The Security and Event Operations team is responsible for ensuring the safety and security of all individuals attending Villa Park events. As a Deputy Safety Officer, you will work closely with the Safety Officer to provide effective event safety operations, including planning and executing safety protocols, collaborating with venue stakeholders, and ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Safety Officer in developing and implementing event safety plans
- Collaborate with venue stakeholders to ensure seamless event operations
- Monitor and maintain compliance with relevant safety and security legislation and regulations
- Participate in pre-event planning and meetings to ensure effective event safety operations
- Act as principal Safety Officer in the absence of the Safety Officer
Requirements:
The ideal candidate will possess excellent safety and event management skills, with experience in working with large crowds and complex event operations. You will have a strong understanding of relevant safety and security legislation and regulations, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
