We are seeking a highly skilled Fire Risk Assessor to join our team at The Health and Safety Partnership. This is an exciting opportunity for a professional with experience in conducting site-based fire risk assessments and providing fire safety advice.

The successful candidate will have the ability to work independently, carrying out fire risk assessments in a variety of sectors, including commercial, industrial and residential. They will also be responsible for assisting clients with Fire Safety compliance and reviewing Fire Safety Information.

This role involves:

  • Carrying out fire risk assessments in premises across different sectors.
  • Assisting clients with meeting their Fire Safety obligations.
  • Reviewing Fire Safety documentation.
  • Supporting clients with Higher Risk Buildings compliance.
  • Preparing fire strategy reports and floor plans.
  • Providing fire safety training and consultancy services.

Requirements for the position include:

  • Experienced Fire Risk Assessor or ex-fire and rescue service inspecting officer.
  • Knowledge of current fire safety legislation, including the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order and technical standards.
  • Understanding of current fire safety issues, trends and best practice.
  • Experience of carrying out fire risk assessments in various premises.

Apart from being registered on the National Listing of Fire Risk Assessors, we also require applicants to be working towards becoming a BAFE SP205- Validator and reaching GIFireE status. Further training and development will come with the role.

The salary range for this position is £50,000 - £60,000 per annum, plus additional benefits such as car allowance, life assurance, healthcare and more.
