About the Job

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team at Teach Now. As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will be responsible for creating a positive and engaging learning environment for pupils with SEN.

You will work closely with students, teachers, and the SEN team to develop individual learning plans (ILPs) and behaviour strategies, and provide a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment. You will also promote positive social interactions and independence skills among pupils.

Responsibilities:
  • Supporting pupils with SEN in both group and 1:1 settings.
  • Developing ILPs and behaviour strategies.
  • Collaborating with teachers and SENCOs to monitor progress.
  • Providing a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment.
  • Promoting positive social interactions and independence skills.
