Job Title: Commercial Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Commercial Manager to join our team at Kinect Recruitment. As a Commercial Manager, you will be responsible for supporting the development and delivery of procurement strategies for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the development and delivery of procurement strategies for our clients
  • Research and contribute to the development of new innovative strategies
  • Support the development pipeline of the overall procurement portfolio of work
  • Support and influence the strategic sourcing activities for large value, complex spend areas
  • Constructively challenge business plans and strategy documents
  • Research and support the development of a robust contract management process
  • Work closely with the infrastructure / operational / cyber & technology procurement teams
  • Collaborate and develop close relationships with business stakeholders
  • Engage with the external market for procurement matters
  • Support the delivery through compliance with relevant regulations
Requirements:
  • Working towards professional qualifications e.g. MRICS, CIPS, APM, CEng or willingness to commit to pursuing
  • Graduate level supported by professional qualifications of commercial or legal bias or able to demonstrate equivalent capability coupled with experience in procurement/legal roles
  • Experience/Interest in a variety of Procurement and Contracting models and specifically in NEC based Contracting environments
  • Experience/Interest of delivering Projects to meet business affordability targets
  • Experience/Interest of working in an integrated project team involving supplier partnering organizations
  • Experience/Interest of working in a matrix organization
  • Experience/Interest in managing teams across different locations
  • Evidence/interest of/in continuous professional development
  • Demonstrable experience/interest of/in working in a structured process environment supported by an on-going desire to continually improve
