Job Title: B1 Licensed Aircraft Engineer

Draken Europe is seeking a highly skilled and experienced B1 Licensed Aircraft Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering department, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient maintenance of our aircraft.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Provide technical support to the engineering team, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company procedures.
  2. Conduct routine maintenance tasks, including inspections, repairs, and replacements of aircraft components.
  3. Collaborate with the Chief Engineer to develop and implement maintenance plans, ensuring optimal base maintenance performance.
  4. Ensure all technical staff under your supervision adheres to safety protocols and company procedures.
  5. Coordinate engineering activities, enabling the team to complete tasks to target and within budget.
  6. Review team performance and provide feedback to the Chief Engineer.
  7. Evaluate existing standards, practices, and procedures to identify areas for improvement.
  8. Assist the Chief Engineer in day-to-day functions and deputise in their absence.
  9. Assist the Chief Engineer in prioritising tasks and scheduling requirements.
  10. Assist the Chief Engineer in developing the team.
Requirements:
  1. Educational vocational qualifications and previous experience in a base maintenance department.
  2. Unrestricted EASA B1/B2 licence with relevant type rating(s) and company authorisations.
  3. Proven track record of at least 3 years at LAE Level or similar role within an aircraft maintenance environment.
  4. Extensive knowledge of regulatory requirements related to aircraft maintenance.
  5. Sound knowledge of base maintenance operation.
  6. Good change and project management skills.
  7. Team-oriented with proven communication and influencing skills.
  8. Customer-focused with exceptional personal and communication skills.
  9. Self-motivated, confident, and assertive.
  10. Demonstrated capability to work within and adhere to a defined set of organisational values.
  11. Medically fit to perform daily engineering duties, including detachment working.
