Creative Teaching Assistant

We are seeking a creative teaching assistant to join our team at a primary special needs school in London. As a teaching assistant, you will work closely with students and teachers to provide support and encouragement in a dynamic and supportive environment.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children and a creative approach to teaching. You will be responsible for supporting students with a range of needs, including speech and language difficulties, mild autism, physical disabilities, and learning difficulties.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting students on a one-to-one basis and in small groups
  • Assisting teachers in lessons such as music, art, and cooking
  • Helping students to develop their vocabulary and numeracy skills
  • Following individualized plans to help students reach their targets
