Business Development Manager Job Description

The Channel Recruiter is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to join their UK sales team and focus on the CCTV/Security sector. As market leaders in the consumer and SMB networking space, we are looking for a driven, dynamic, and ambitious professional to further enhance the sales team and bring new opportunities to the business.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop Business within the UK CCTV/Security Sector: Utilize existing customer relationships, market research, and internal data to develop business within the UK CCTV/Security sector.
  • Understand the CCTV/Security Supply Chain: Understand how the CCTV/Security supply chain works and key customers within Distribution, System integrators, and installers.
  • Develop a Strong Pipeline of Sales Opportunities: Develop a strong pipeline of sales opportunities within targeted customers and provide regular feedback to the management team on open opportunities, forecasting, and quarterly plans.
  • Present, Train, and Educate Customers: Present, train, and educate customers on SMB/Enterprise solutions in the CCTV/Security field.

About the Role:

This individual must have a solid background in developing CCTV/Security customers in the IT industry and have a proven track record of success. They will be highly driven, passionate, and have previous experience proactively developing sales opportunities. The Business Development Manager will be a team-focused role, requiring excellent communication skills and a solid team player.

Requirements:

  • Solid Background in CCTV/Security Customers: A solid background in developing CCTV/Security customers in the IT industry.
  • Proven Track Record of Success: A proven track record of success in sales development.
  • IT Sales Experience: Experience in IT sales, working either for an IT Reseller/MSP or IT Vendor.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills and a solid team player.
