Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Marine Project Manager to lead and implement marine distribution projects across Europe. As a key member of our team, you will partner with business stakeholders to ensure successful project completion.

About the Role:

  • Manage multiple marine distribution projects from inception to completion, facilitating project planning sessions and monitoring project status.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality results, while identifying and resolving project issues.
  • Develop and manage project budgets, conduct research and analysis, and provide input into project plans and timelines.
  • Document team learnings, maintain project records, and communicate project status to stakeholders.
  • Identify and assign resources to accomplish project tasks, guiding team members through project stages.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to establish performance goals, design project plans, and track performance.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in marine engineering, project management, or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of marine distribution and logistics with proven track record of successful project delivery in Europe.
  • Certification in project management (PMP) or equivalent, familiarity with EU regulations related to marine distribution and logistics.
  • Schedule management, scope management, project resource management, and project issue and risk management.
  • Business insight, customer focus, and prioritization skills aligned with organizational goals.
  • Financial acumen to interpret and apply key financial indicators for better decision-making.
  • Ability to manage complexity, conflicts, and communicate effectively.
  • Fluency in English; additional European languages are a plus.

Location: This role can be based anywhere within the UK or Europe.

Compensation Package:

  • Estimated annual salary: £65,000 - £85,000 depending on experience.
  • Defined contribution pension scheme with company contributions up to 9%.
  • Annual bonus plan with target 8% (based on company performance).
