Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Risk, Business Continuity and Security Advisor to join our team at Cheshire West and Chester Council. As a trusted advisor, you will play a key role in promoting and developing Council processes for risk management, business continuity, and employee personal security.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement effective risk management frameworks to identify, assess, and mitigate strategic and operational risks.
- Design and maintain robust business continuity plans to ensure an effective response to potential threats to service delivery.
- Establish and maintain security policies and procedures to mitigate security risks to staff.
Requirements
- Relevant experience in risk management, business continuity, and security, ideally in the public sector.
- Strong understanding of risk management frameworks, business continuity planning, and security policies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
