Job Title: Commercial Legal Counsel

We are seeking a highly skilled Commercial Legal Counsel to join our team at BSI Group. As a key member of our Legal department, you will provide legal and commercial expertise to our EMEA business, focusing on commercial law.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide legal support to our EMEA business on a wide range of corporate and commercial matters.
  • Assist business colleagues in drafting, negotiating, reviewing, and approving contracts for BSI's EMEA businesses.
  • Manage commercial projects, including creating project plans, liaising with business colleagues, negotiating with external partners, and concluding contracts.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to foster business relationships and provide excellent business partnering, planning, and organizational skills.
Requirements:
  • 1 or above degree classification in English law or similar qualification.
  • Solicitor/Barrister qualified in England and Wales or similar qualification in an analogous jurisdiction.
  • Legal training and post-qualification experience with a leading law firm will be advantageous.
  • Experience as part of an in-house legal department of an organization is preferable.
