About this role:

As a Deputy Chef Manager at Quantum Care, you will be responsible for providing a safe, quality, cost-effective catering service to our residents. You will work closely with the team to create a warm and friendly atmosphere in our Homes, ensuring that our residents receive excellent care and support.

Your Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and food safety practices.
  • Manage food preparation, cooking, and service to meet the diverse dietary requirements of our residents.
  • Lead the culinary team to deliver high-quality meals and maintain a clean and hygienic kitchen environment.
  • Develop and implement menus that cater to the needs of our residents, ensuring variety and nutritional balance.
  • Collaborate with the care team to understand the needs of our residents and provide tailored meal solutions.
  • Monitor and control food costs, ensuring efficient use of resources and minimizing waste.
  • Recruit, train, and develop the culinary team to ensure they have the skills and knowledge required to deliver excellent care.
