Exciting Opportunity for a Clinical Deputy Manager

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Clinical Deputy Manager to join our team at Westgate Healthcare. As a key member of our management team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the health, safety, and well-being of our residents.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Home Manager with the day-to-day running of the home, ensuring a high standard of care is provided.
  • Lead and supervise the nursing and care staff, providing clinical expertise and guidance.
  • Oversee the care planning process, ensuring residents' individual needs are met with dignity and respect.
  • Monitor clinical care standards, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation, regulations, and policies.
  • Support the recruitment, training, and development of staff to maintain a skilled and motivated team.
  • Conduct regular audits, including medication management and care plans, to ensure best practices.
  • Act as a role model for excellent clinical care and leadership.
  • Build positive relationships with residents, families, and healthcare professionals.
  • Step into the Home Manager's role when they are absent, ensuring continuity of care and management.
Requirements:
  • Qualification as a Registered General Nurse with a current and valid NMC pin number.
  • A minimum of 3 years management experience within a care home setting.
  • Strong clinical skills with an understanding of CQC requirements, Safeguarding of Vulnerable Adults, HSE (Health & Safety Executive) requirements, and other relevant legislation.
  • Excellent communication with a positive, flexible, and innovative attitude.
