Therapeutic Services Specialist

**Job Description**
We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Therapeutic Services Specialist to join our team at Leicestershire County Council.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in working with children and young people, particularly those with complex needs. You will work closely with families, other professionals, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality interventions and support.
This role involves a combination of direct delivery of interventions to children and their families, as well as developing and implementing the Youth Justice Harmful Sexual Behaviour Pathway.
You will be responsible for managing a small caseload of children and young people, providing advice to the court, and contributing to the development of the service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality interventions to children and their families.
- Develop and implement the Youth Justice Harmful Sexual Behaviour Pathway.
- Manage a small caseload of children and young people.

Requirements:
- A qualified Social Worker holding a Social Work degree or equivalent, e.g., CQSW, DipSW (with specialism in children's services) and registered with Social Work England.
- Significant knowledge and experience of working with children and young people around harmful sexual behaviour.
- Extensive knowledge and application of social work legislation, methodologies, social care policies, guidance, procedures, and case reviews.
Salary: £41,373 - £45,529 per annum (pro-rata for part-time), plus market premia (£3,283).
