About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Site Manager to join our team in North Scotland. As part of our flagship new build education project in Tain, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of the site.

The ideal candidate will have experience delivering new build projects within a main contracting environment and possess excellent technical knowledge and an eye for detail across various work packages.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Under the direction of the Project Manager, manage and direct sub-contractor partners to deliver work packages such as groundworks, drainage, structural frame erection, roofing, cladding, interior fit-out, and finishings safely.
  • Check work carried out by sub-contractors to assess delivery against programme, design drawings, and quality standards.
  • Review Risk Assessments and Method Statements from sub-contractors to ensure working methods outlined are safe and appropriate.
  • Carry out toolbox talks and site inductions to ensure full compliance with Kier standards.
  • Coordinate site logistics, movement of plant and labor, and ensure safety is maintained.
  • CARRY OUT QUALITY CHECKS AND LOG, DOCUMENT, AND COMPPILE AS SUPPORTING EVIDENCE FOR PASSIVHAUS ACCREDITATION.
  • Create, log, and file site reports and paperwork in an accurate and timely manner.

What We're Looking For

  • A proven track record of delivering new build projects within a main contracting environment.
  • Excellent technical knowledge and an eye for detail across various work packages.
  • Ability to gather and compile data for documentation accurately.
  • Possession of SMSTS, CSCS, First Aid, and UK Driving License.

Salary: £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience. A competitive salary package that reflects your skills and qualifications.
