Guidant Global is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Product Engineering Manager to lead the garment technical team in delivering high-quality products.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned professional to join our team and contribute to the success of our clients. The successful candidate will have a strong background in product development, with experience in managing teams and driving projects forward.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the garment technical team to ensure the timely delivery of all new seasonal developments.
  • Partner with the design team to develop new product strategies and projects, including establishing seasonal construction and quality requirements.
  • Evaluate initial design sketches with the team to identify potential risks and suggest solutions.
  • Oversee the creation of accurate and timely Technical Specification Packs and detailed SOP guidelines for the factory.
  • Monitor and review team performance against agreed business objectives and KPIs.

Requirements

  • 3+ years' experience in a similar role, preferably in the garment industry.
  • University degree in Textiles or Fashion with garment industry experience.
  • Strong knowledge of garment construction and fit.
  • Solid manufacturing experience and understanding, able to train and demonstrate sewing methods with machinists.
  • Working knowledge of MS Excel, Adobe, and Office Suite.

Salary Range: £60,000 - £80,000 per annum (dependent on experience).
