We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Childrens Residential Support Worker to join our team at a specialised secure residential facility in Hampshire. This is a highly rewarding role that offers the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of vulnerable children.
Key Responsibilities- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children aged 10-17 who are facing complex attachment issues, mental health challenges, and behavioural difficulties.
- Work collaboratively with a dedicated team of professional carers to create a structured and stimulating atmosphere within the facility.
- Foster positive and trusting relationships with the children, promoting their emotional and psychological well-being.
- Engage in enjoyable activities that benefit both the children and staff, such as education and health and well-being initiatives.
- Manage challenging behaviours with patience, empathy, and understanding.
This role offers a shift pattern that includes alternate weekends, with a mix of early and late shifts as well as sleep-in duties to accommodate your work-life balance. Flexible working arrangements can be discussed.
