Job Title: Design Engineer/Draughtsperson

We are seeking a skilled Design Engineer/Draughtsperson to join our team in Deeside. The successful candidate will be responsible for generating, reviewing, and maintaining 2D drawings to company and customer standards using AutoCAD.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate and formalise AutoCAD drawing formats and standards for the company.
  • Produce and update a range of electrical, mechanical, and functionally descriptive CAD drawings.
  • Compile basic design level modifications and drafts from project leaders.
Requirements:
  • Excellent verbal and written skills in English.
  • Flexible, versatile, self-motivated, fast learner, results-focused, willing to give additional input as and when required to meet customer requirements.
  • A minimum of 3 years track record in CAD experience working in any engineering industry, preferably using AutoCAD 2D or 3D.
  • Knowledge and experience of drawing changes procedures and revision control as well as basic understanding of Quality Management Systems (ISO9001).
