TPS Sales and Account Executive Role

About TPS

TPS is a leading provider of Genuine Parts and products to independent garages and bodyshops. As a Sales and Account Executive, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional customer service and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Work closely with the Sales Manager and team to achieve business objectives and sales targets.
  2. Build strong relationships with customers through regular contact and face-to-face visits.
  3. Accurately identify parts to meet customer sales requirements.
  4. Utilize product promotions to achieve specific targets.
  5. Identify and leverage potential sales opportunities within the customer base.
  6. Maintain product knowledge and awareness of competitor activity.
  7. Provide a high level of service to customers through understanding their requirements and responding to requests.
  8. Communicate timely with customers on their credit status.
  9. Assist and support the TPS Centre team to ensure good working relationships and delivery of excellent customer service.
  10. Work with the Sales Manager and others to achieve sales targets and provide a joined-up approach to sales.
  11. Handle incoming calls and customer enquiries within KPIs, using the approved greeting.
  12. Ensure the proper and accurate use of all systems to search and order parts.
  13. Complete all required documentation accurately and promptly.
  14. Deal with all cash and credit card transactions in line with TPS Guidelines.

Requirements

  1. A self-starter with a proven track record in building strong relationships and achieving sales targets in a B2B environment.
  2. Confident and capable communicator with experience of selling in a fast-paced and/or telesales environment.
  3. Passion for providing a great customer service experience.
  4. Excellent communication skills both verbally and written with the ability to build strong relationships with all key stakeholders.
  5. A team player with the drive and determination to achieve individual and sales targets on a weekly & monthly basis.
  6. Excellent attention to detail and accurate record-keeping.
  7. IT literate, preferably with a good working knowledge of MS Excel.
  8. A passion for the automotive industry.
