Job Title: TrusteeAbout the Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled individual to join our team as a Trustee. As a Trustee, you will play a crucial role in advising and supporting our National Board and CEO on financial governance decisions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert advice on financial governance matters, ensuring compliance with regulations and trust deeds.
  • Work closely with the National Board and CEO to develop and implement financial strategies.
  • Ensure effective management of the National Fund, aligning with the Federation's objectives.
  • Attend National Conference and receive notifications of waivers and write-offs.
  • Provide an advisory role on the Finance Committee and National Reserve Fund Committee, as specified in the terms of reference.
  • Deal with credit card appeals and meet with the CEO bi-monthly for briefings.
  • Represent the trustee group at National Board meetings, as required.
Requirements
  • Extensive experience in finance, with a leadership or executive level background.
  • Previous experience working in complex stakeholder environments and governance procedures.
  • Advantageous to have previous experience as a Non-Executive for a non-profit or public sector organisation.
