Financial Reporting Specialist

As a Financial Reporting Specialist at Reed, you will play a key role in supporting the financial reporting process. Your responsibilities will include the production of monthly Management Accounts, quarterly forecasts, and annual budgets. You will also be responsible for building strong relationships with budget holders, operational teams, and other key stakeholders.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Ensuring accurate and timely accounting entries
  • Preparing and processing journals for accrued income, prepayments, and other required entries
  • Producing accurate monthly management accounts
  • Reconciling Balance Sheet Accounts
  • Supporting Team Managers with financial information and analysis

You will also be responsible for investigating variances on budget and providing detailed analysis on reasons for variances. Additionally, you will assist in the delivery of benchmarking data and contribute to the interpretation of outcomes.

Requirements:

  • Experience in a Management Accounting & Business Partner role
  • Reporting to senior managers and presenting complex information
  • Part qualified (ACCA/CIMA/AAT)
  • Advanced Excel Skills
