Lead Music Professional Wanted:

We are seeking an exceptional Lead Music Professional to join our dynamic school in Bexley, South London. This is a unique opportunity to inspire a love for music within a diverse student body and contribute to the development of a world-class music program.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the delivery of high-quality music lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, developing students' musical abilities and inspiring a passion for music. They will also contribute to the development of an inclusive and diverse music curriculum, ensuring that all students have access to a rich and engaging music education.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive music curriculum that meets the needs of all students.
  • Lead a team of music teachers, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality instruction.
  • Collaborate with other departments to integrate music into the broader curriculum.
Candidate Requirements:

We are seeking a qualified leader with:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a strong passion for music education.
  • Subject expertise in Music, including excellent communication skills and a deep understanding of music theory, performance, and cultural diversity.
  • Proven leadership experience, with the ability to inspire and motivate staff and students.
Salary and Benefits:
  • Competitive salary: £55,000 - £65,000 per annum based on experience and qualifications.
