Job Title: Architectural Technician

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Architectural Technician to join our team at Pertemps TM. As an Architectural Technician, you will be responsible for producing drawing packages and managing projects on site, assisting and supporting building surveyors with design and concept contributions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out AutoCAD-based drawing tasks, producing drawings from notes and amending incoming drawings as required.
  • Follow company procedures and quality assurance protocols.
  • Collect data on site, including conducted measured surveys.
  • Prioritise work in consultation with team managers and associates.
  • Liaise and communicate with different consultants.
  • Ensure up-to-date knowledge of UK building regulations.
  • Carry out planning applications.
  • Opportunities may arise for project management, dependent on experience.

Requirements:

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of UK building regulations.
  • Experience in preparing detailed drawings in AutoCAD.
  • Passion for traditional or listed buildings, with experience in this field desirable but not essential.
  • The role would suit someone early in their career with an ambition to develop their design skills.
