- To develop and implement personalized care plans, working collaboratively with clients, families, and multidisciplinary teams to achieve optimal outcomes.
- To provide emotional support and guidance to clients, helping them to build and maintain positive relationships with others.
- To assist with organizing and leading activity groups, promoting social interaction, education, and leisure activities that cater to clients' interests and abilities.
- To maintain accurate records and reports, ensuring timely communication with senior staff and other stakeholders.
- To adhere to health and safety protocols, including infection control and manual handling procedures, to minimize risks and ensure a safe working environment.
Work Environment:
The role requires flexibility, adaptability, and a commitment to providing high-quality care in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. The work setting may involve exposure to challenging behaviors, unpleasant conditions, and noisy environments.
Essential Qualifications and Requirements:
- Satisfactory Enhanced DBS check.
- NVQ Level 2 in Care.
- LDAF Induction.
- Minimum of two years' experience working with Learning Disabilities or in older people's services.
