Elite Care Recruitment is seeking an experienced Extra Care Service Manager to lead a complex of individual flats in Camden, providing high-level care services and accommodation for individuals over 55 years old.

The care facility comprises 35 self-contained extra care apartments with own kitchen, lounge, bedroom & wet room, offering a staffed cafe, communal lounges, and a hairdressing salon supported by an on-site concierge and community care teams.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the day-to-day running of the Service, ensuring effective use of resources and maintaining high levels of occupancy.
  • Utilize authentic leadership skills to motivate the team to deliver excellent quality of care, providing improvement, independence, and choice for Service Users.
  • Manage the financial performance of the Service, complying with all regulatory and legislative requirements at all times.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve the Service, ensuring it meets the needs of Service Users and stakeholders.
Requirements:
  • Level 5 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent) or be working towards this qualification.
  • Experience as a Registered Manager in an Extra Care Scheme, with a proven track record of successfully managing a staff team.
  • Knowledge of CQC requirements and the ability to ensure compliance at all times.
