Job Summary

NHS Scotland is committed to delivering high-quality healthcare services, and we are seeking an experienced Emergency Medicine Specialist to join our team. As a Consultant in Anaesthetics and Pain Medicine, you will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to provide exceptional care to patients in Lochaber and beyond.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in emergency medicine, with expertise in anaesthetics and pain management. You will be responsible for delivering a first-rate service, working closely with our existing Consultant Anaesthetists and the Medical and Surgical teams.

The Chronic Pain Management Service covers a wide area, and you will be part of a multidisciplinary team that includes Clinical Nurse Specialists, Specialist Physiotherapy, Psychology, and a Service Improvement Manager. You will have the opportunity to develop your skills and maintain your clinical expertise through video conferencing, national support networks, and local and organizational level support.
