We are seeking two experienced professionals to join our team as Housing Advocates at Refuge. As a Housing Advocate, you will play a vital role in supporting women and children who are impacted by domestic violence.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality independent advocacy and support to survivors of domestic abuse at the highest risk and their children.
- Work closely with victims of domestic abuse from the point of crisis to provide expert guidance and support.
- Participate in an out-of-hours on-call rota to ensure 24/7 support for survivors.
Requirements
- Expertise in housing and domestic abuse support.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
