Cred Supervisor Maintenance Team Leader

We are seeking a dedicated Cred Supervisor to join our team at HMP Highpoint, a Category C and Adult male prison. As a Cred Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in the smooth and safe operation of the prison estate, working alongside experienced and passionate colleagues to create a safe and nurturing environment.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and manage small-scale refurbishments and projects, ensuring they are completed safely and to a high standard.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues from various trades and backgrounds to achieve objectives and overcome challenges.
- Utilize your experience and calm nature to build, advocate for, and implement projects that support prisoner rehabilitation.
- Manage relationships with various stakeholders, including prisoners, staff, and external partners.
- Contribute to the development of a positive and inclusive workplace culture, promoting diversity and inclusion.
- Understanding of prisons and prisoner working systems, or a willingness to learn.
- Experience in managing small-scale refurbishments and projects, including health and safety principles.
- Trade or building qualification, such as carpentry, painting and decorating, plumbing, or electrics.
- Self-motivated with a positive 'can-do' approach to work.
- Experience managing relationships with various stakeholders.
