Job Title: Advanced Nursing Professional

Estimated Salary Range: £35,000 - £40,000 per annum.

Job Description:
  • In this role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to patients and their families.
  • You must have current working experience in an inpatient setting and more than 12 months of experience at Band 5.
  • Additionally, you should have completed training for the supervision of student nurses.

Key Responsibilities:

Deputise for the Ward Matron when they are absent and participate in the Clinical Team Leader duty rota. This includes rotational shifts with day and night working over a 7-day week. Candidates must be physically fit and able to engage in PMVA (Teamwork) training, using such interventions when necessary.

Act as a Resource, providing advice on nursing care related to clinical interventions, policies, service development, and delivery. You will demonstrate competency in applying relevant areas of nursing expertise within a multi-professional arena, acknowledging yourself as an expert clinical leader and role model, while providing clinical supervision within allocated wards.

• Ensure direct high-quality nursing care, employing evidence-based interventions in assessment, planning, delivery, and evaluation of care to service users and families. Your work involves collaborating with patients and their loved ones through the care planning and risk assessment process. Maintain practice within the legal and ethical framework set out by the NMC code of professional conduct and other relevant legislation.
