Advanced Practitioner for Children's Needs

The Royal Wolverhampton NHS Trust is seeking a skilled Advanced Practitioner to deliver high-quality nursing care to children in need. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating treatment/care for patients presenting with long-term conditions, minor ailments, and injuries.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Assessment and Care Planning: Conduct thorough assessments of patients to identify their needs and develop effective care plans.
  2. Paediatric Qualification: Hold a paediatric qualification or have experience in assessing and treating children under 1 year, with a willingness to undergo appropriate training within the first 6 months in post.
  3. Telephone Triage: Previous experience of telephone triage of patients is preferred.
  4. Training and Development: Demonstrate and take an active part in the training, development, and support of junior practitioners within the service.
