SEN Teaching Assistant Role

We are seeking an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team at a 1-form entry Catholic Primary School in Wigan. The successful candidate will be working across reception and year 1, supporting children with additional needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting children with ASC, ADHD, and global delay
  • Working in a relevant classroom environment
  • Providing individualized support to pupils with SEN
  • Collaborating with teachers to develop and implement individualized education plans
  • Enhancing the learning experience for all pupils

Requirements:

  • NVQ level 2 qualification
  • Experience of working with SEN children
  • Enhanced DBS Disclosure
  • Legal right to work in the UK
