Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team of professionals in Wigan. As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers and other support staff to provide individualized support to children with special educational needs.

About the Role:
  • Work on a 1:1 basis with a child in either KS1 or KS2
  • Provide individualized support to help the child reach their full potential
  • Work closely with the teacher to ensure that all work set is delivered and planned in line with pupil ability
  • Be flexible and adaptable to meet the needs of the pupils
Requirements:
  • Recent experience working with children
  • Previous experience supporting SEN children (desirable)
  • Confidence working with children in a 1:1 setting
  • Friendly and enthusiastic approach
