High-Performance Engineer

The salary for this position is £90,000 - £120,000 per annum, depending on experience. The role would ideally be based in Birmingham or York, with Manchester, Reading, and London as additional possibilities, adopting a hybrid working model blending home working with time in the office to collaborate with colleagues on projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of Mechanical Engineers and act as MEP Contractors Responsible Engineer (CRE) and/or Lead Engineer on MEP projects.
- Involved in major projects within the Engineering discipline covering both rail and non-rail services.
- Ensure projects are completed to meet all client's requirements, applicable standards, and to the agreed project programme.
Requirements:
- Minimum HNC qualified in Mechanical Engineering or demonstrable equivalent experience.
- Considerable experience and expertise to manage complex or non-standard design solutions.
- Detailed knowledge of mechanical services design within the built environment or transport infrastructure.
- Detailed knowledge of multi-disciplinary issues associated with M&E and building services.
