About the Role:
The successful candidate will have a strong academic background in Hydrology, Environmental Management, and Civil Engineering, as well as extensive experience in Hydrology, Hydraulic Modelling, Flood Risk, Water Quality, and Pollution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Flood Risk Assessments for Planning Applications, including the evaluation of flood risk and the development of mitigation strategies.
- Flood Estimation using FEH and Winfap, including the analysis of flood data and the development of flood risk models.
- Water Framework Directive Assessments, including the evaluation of water quality and the development of strategies to improve water quality.
- Water Quality Assessments, including the evaluation of water quality and the development of strategies to improve water quality.
- Nutrient Neutrality Assessments, including the evaluation of nutrient levels and the development of strategies to improve water quality.
- Hydrological Assessments, including the evaluation of hydrological data and the development of strategies to improve flood risk management.
- Surface Water Management Plans and Catchment Management Plans, including the development of strategies to manage surface water and improve flood risk management.
- Hydraulic Modelling using Flood Modeller Pro and Tuflow, including the analysis of flood data and the development of flood risk models.
- Drainage Strategies, including the development of strategies to improve drainage and reduce flood risk.
