We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Healthcare Professional to join our team as a Substance Misuse Specialist. As a key member of our Recovery Near You service, you will work with adults aged 18+ to reduce substance misuse through psychosocial interventions.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to support clients in achieving their recovery goals.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care and support services.
- Conduct assessments, interventions, and case management to ensure effective service delivery.
- Participate in service development and quality improvement initiatives to enhance client outcomes.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A qualification in health/social care, youth and community care (e.g. NVQ Level 3 or above, DipSW, Mental Health Nursing, Counselling, Addiction Studies).
- Experience of working in the substance misuse field, with a commitment to complete NVQ Level 3 Health and Social Care.
- Good knowledge of alcohol/drug and health related issues, as well as the ability to liaise with voluntary and statutory agencies and health professionals.
- A flexible approach, a commitment to the principles of confidentiality, and the ability to write client records and report and fulfill data requirements.
This is a permanent full-time role requiring the post holder to work 37 hours per week. We offer a competitive salary and a range of benefits, including opportunities for professional development and a supportive work environment.
