Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Regulatory Compliance and Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team at PrepWorld Ltd. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with food safety, health, and safety regulations.

About the Job

The successful candidate will have experience in internal audits, risk management, and staff training. You will be responsible for conducting internal audits, developing corrective actions, and driving continuous improvement across all departments. You will also collaborate with department heads and teams to implement preventative measures and risk reduction strategies identified through audits or incident investigations.

A key aspect of this role is counterbalancing the Shift Operations Manager to ensure compliance, safety, and achievement of customer expectations across the site. You will regularly review operations, identifying potential risks to compliance or safety, and work with the Shift Operations Manager to implement corrective actions swiftly.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Conduct internal audits and develop corrective actions to prevent future occurrences
  2. Collaborate with department heads and teams to implement preventative measures and risk reduction strategies
  3. Monitor site performance against customer expectations and address any gaps proactively
  4. Provide guidance and input on operational decisions to ensure they align with site-wide compliance protocols and customer expectations
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • Audit-specific training (ISO 22000, lead auditor, BRC Global Standards) or similar credentials focused on food safety and health & safety audits
  • Food safety qualifications (Level 3 or above)
  • Health & safety qualifications (NEBOSH General Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety or equivalent auditing-related qualification)
  • Experience in internal audits in a food production environment
  • Analytical skills to analyse audit data and trends
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary (£38,000 - £45,000 per annum), free parking, and modern offices and facilities. You will also receive medicash allowances to cover costs such as dental and optical bills, physiotherapy, alternative therapies, and consultancy charges.

Working Hours

This is a full-time position working 9 hours per night between 17:00pm and 06:00am, with 1 hour unpaid break, totalling 8 hours per day (40hrs per week). The successful candidate will manage their own time within the above night shift hours to meet business goals.
