Psychiatrist Position in Australia

This position is based in Mackay, Queensland, Australia, and requires relocation to the area.
The Australian system for the assessment and registration of consultant psychiatrists trained outside of Australia is changing, making it easier, faster, and cheaper for psychiatrists trained in the UK and Ireland to move to Australia.
Key Highlights:- 1st year package up to AU$554k plus on-call allowances (depending on years of consultant level experience).

- High-level clinical knowledge and proficiency in general adult psychiatry in a range of settings.

- If you are an overseas-trained psychiatrist, you will have completed your training in either Ireland, UK, NZ, Canada, or USA, South Africa, Sri Lanka (with 2-year placement in Australia) and have completed a formal 6 months post in child and adolescent psychiatry in your higher or core training.
- Experience and leadership in MDTs,
- Clinical practice and service delivery to encourage early intervention and prevention.
- Willingness to teach undergrad, postgrad, DiTs, etc.
