We are seeking a skilled Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team at Evans Denham LTD. As a Quality Assurance Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality of our software products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review system requirements and provide timely and meaningful feedback to ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases to identify and resolve system malfunctions.
  • Estimate, prioritize, plan, and coordinate testing activities to ensure efficient use of resources.
  • Design, develop, and execute automation scripts using open-source tools to streamline testing processes.
  • Identify, record, document, and track bugs to ensure prompt resolution and minimize downtime.
  • Perform thorough regression testing to ensure software stability and quality.
  • Develop and apply testing processes for new and existing products to meet client needs and expectations.
  • Liaise with internal teams, including developers and product managers, to identify system requirements and ensure seamless integration.
  • Monitor debugging process results to ensure effective issue resolution.
  • Investigate the causes of non-conforming software and train users to implement solutions.
  • Track quality assurance metrics, such as defect densities and open defect counts, to inform business decisions.
  • Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies to ensure Evans Denham LTD remains at the forefront of software quality assurance.

Requirements:

  • Proven work experience in software development and quality assurance.
  • Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
  • Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
  • Hands-on experience with both white box and black box testing.
  • Hands-on experience with automated testing tools.
  • Solid knowledge of SQL and scripting.
  • Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process.
  • Experience with performance and/or security testing is a plus.
  • BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related subject.
