Quality Assurance Specialist

Mativ is seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Specialist to play a crucial role in ensuring the highest quality products are manufactured by our organization.

  • Develop and maintain quality control and assurance management systems to guarantee products meet customer specifications.
  • Support the implementation and maintenance of quality assurance systems to address new process challenges.
  • Collaborate with the Technical Department to drive improvements in quality assurance and achieve business plan KPIs.
  • Ensure compliance with 9001:2015 quality system and procedures.
  • Implement appropriate levels of control to ensure all products released meet customer specifications.

As a Quality Assurance Specialist, you will be an integral part of our 50-strong workforce in a £25m turnover operation. You will work closely with the Quality Manager and the Technical Department to achieve our quality goals.

About the Role
  • Work closely with the technical team on the introduction of new production assets.
  • Troubleshoot quality issues on the production floor and work with Production teams towards a successful resolution.
  • Drive improvements in all areas of quality assurance that impact our ability to achieve business plan KPIs.
  • Ensure all products released fully meet customer specifications through the implementation of appropriate levels of control.
Requirements
  • Manufacturing experience with quality requirements and/or quality function experience is essential.
  • Quality/Engineering background.
  • Very good level of English.
  • Resilience in dealing with customer complaints and ability to challenge colleagues and customers in a supportive manner.
  • Ability to carry out quality testing to a high standard.
  • Capable of handling multiple projects/priorities.
  • Very strong word, excel and analytic software capabilities.

This site produces products through extrusion for a wide range of applications for our clients in medical, food, filtration and automotive, and continues to go from strength to strength.
