About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Portfolio Manager to join our Group Finance team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of change projects across Group Finance, ensuring successful delivery and alignment with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a portfolio of change projects, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery.
  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans, engaging and driving delivery from multiple teams.
  • Identify and resolve business and supplier issues, ensuring projects meet quality targets.
  • Assess and manage major risks associated with project delivery.
  • Regularly report progress to senior stakeholders.
  • Work closely with the Group Head of Change to review project teams and identify synergies, efficiencies, and cost savings.
  • Manage project teams to ensure optimal leverage and efficiency across the portfolio.
  • Develop the team of change professionals to ensure their continuous development.
Requirements
  • Experience of Portfolio Management.
  • Experience of leading projects/programmes/portfolios in Finance change.
  • Experience working in Insurance or Financial Services.
  • Relevant project/portfolio/programme management qualification.
  • Extensive experience managing challenging stakeholders up to Executive level.
  • Experience working as a Project Manager with multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Exposure to the full project life cycle.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities.
