Procurement Visionary

Parkinson Lee Executive Search is seeking a seasoned procurement professional to lead the procurement function and drive commercial performance for a market leader in the service sector.
Key Responsibilities:- Create a visionary procurement service that delivers true commercial performance by mentoring and guiding the team from transactional and process-focused behaviours to a dynamic approach that challenges previous norms.
- Lead the development of procurement and supply chain, aligning with business goals and driving value creation across all procurement activities.
- Implement a Business Partnering approach, fostering strong, consultative relationships with internal stakeholders to drive commercial outcomes.
- Oversee the procurement of materials, services, and leasing agreements, ensuring efficient contract reviews, renewals, and tenders.
- Lead the continuous improvement of purchasing systems, ensuring alignment with legal and financial regulations.
- Qualified member of the Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply (MCIPS) or equivalent.
- Demonstrable evidence of continuous professional development (CPD).
- Proven leadership skills with extensive experience in senior procurement management within large and complex organisations.
- In-depth knowledge of UK Procurement regulations and public procurement directives.
- Strong track record of managing complex projects and delivering them on time, within budget.
