Accounts Clerk

Curo Services is seeking an experienced Accounts Clerk to join its team in Newcastle Upon Tyne. As a key member of the finance team, you will be responsible for managing credit control and cash allocation processes, ensuring seamless payment collection and processing.
Job Description:
- Manage and process incoming invoices, accurately recording payments and updating customer accounts.
- Maintain positive relationships with clients, resolving any queries or concerns regarding payments or account discrepancies.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders to resolve payment-related issues, ensuring timely resolution.
- Conduct regular credit checks and data validation to ensure accurate and up-to-date customer information.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Accounts Receivable or Credit Control, with a strong understanding of financial systems and procedures.
- Familiarity with JD Edwards Accounting Software is preferred, but not essential.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
Salary Range: £25,500 - £28,000 per annum, depending on experience.
