Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Reporting Specialist to join our team at Hamilton Woods Careers. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for managing the timely preparation and submission of statutory reporting for multiple legal entities.

Responsibilities:

  • Managing multiple VAT returns (monthly, quarterly, annual), and corresponding preparation of paperwork for payment
  • Managing the preparation and review of balance sheet reconciliations
  • Managing intrastrat reporting and other regulatory reporting
  • The key point of contact between the business and local authorities - manage the relationship with the tax team
  • Managing the relationship with external auditors and corporate tax advisors
  • Involvement in other adhoc projects as and when required
  • Support the month end close and reporting process, ensuring all deadlines are met
  • Take full responsibility for the international business ensuring all accounting and tax matters are completed in a timely manner
  • Complete the cash flow forecast for all of the European businesses on a weekly basis

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in financial reporting and compliance
  • Strong knowledge of VAT regulations and compliance requirements
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team

Salary: £350-£380 per day
