- Oversee month-end processes and group reporting, ensuring timely and accurate financial information.
- Manage balance sheet reporting and reconciliations, maintaining a high level of financial accuracy and compliance.
- Monitor cash flow, working capital, and budgeting, providing strategic financial guidance to the organization.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and support future growth through effective financial planning and management.
- Coordinate with central finance functions and supply chain, fostering strong relationships and ensuring seamless financial operations.
- Lead project and commercial finance governance, providing expert financial guidance and oversight.
- Contribute to budgeting, variance reporting, and cost analysis, identifying areas for improvement and implementing cost-saving initiatives.
- Collaborate with senior managers to optimize financial performance, driving business growth and profitability.
- Handle statutory audit processes and reporting, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Present financial information and data as needed, providing clear and concise financial insights to stakeholders.
Requirements:
Ideal Candidate:
- Fully qualified in ACA, ACCA, or CIMA, with a strong background in financial management and control.
- Experience in construction, services, or project industries, with a deep understanding of financial regulations and compliance.
- Strong technical accounting skills, with commercial awareness and a keen eye for detail.
- Excellent communication and analytical skills, with the ability to present complex financial information in a clear and concise manner.
- Team player with efficient working practices, able to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Computer literate with proficiency in Microsoft Office, with experience in financial software and systems.
